Do you know about neuroplasticity?
๐Ÿ“š Neuroplasticity is studying the human brain and its ability to adapt to various environments and change when humans experience new things. The brain was historically believed that it could not generate new neurons in contrast to other parts of our bodies. After many studies throughout the years however, it has been proven that the brain can grow, change and regenerate, which has an impact on our cognitive functioning. Our brain contains an abundance of circuits and pathways and whenever you do a task, you are firing a pathway in your brain. If you repeatedly fire the same pathway, your brain will build up that circuit, improve your ability to perform that task and so you build up a new skill. Now that you know about neuroplasticity, you will be able to recognize that your brain’s ability to grow is much greater than you thought and you will realize that your brain is physically capable of growing and so your skills are able to grow as well.
Are you ready to explore new learning opportunities, try new strategies and thus gain new skills and grow?
